A. Notice of Elections for 2012-2013 Year

The membership of the Krewe of Chaos is hereby notified that the 2012-2013 annual election of officers and members of the Board of Directors will take place on August 8, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at The Center, 1301 Colfax Ave, Denver, CO.

All members in good standing who are eligible to be covered by Directors and Officers Insurance are eligible for nomination and election to the following offices for 2012-13, which comprise the Executive Board:

Captain
Assistant Captain
Secretary
Treasurer
Public Relations Chairperson
Fundraising Chairperson
Membership Chairperson
Website Chairperson

Other Board positions available for election, subject to the appropriate By-laws provisions requiring 5 primary Color Team members for election of a Director, are:

Red Team Leader
Orange Team Leader
Yellow Team Leader
Green Team Leader
Blue Team Leader
Purple Team Leader

Nominations will open at the July 11, 2012 meeting and will remain open until the night of elections. However, to be included on the absentee ballot your nomination must be submitted to the Elections Committee on the Krewe of Chaos Election Application no later than twenty (20) days prior to the scheduled election, that is by July 19. Please contact the Elections Chair (Elections@KreweofChaos.org), to submit your application, a copy of which is attached.

Please update your address information with the Secretary, Bryan Williams, at Secretary@KreweofChaos.org to insure that you receive your absentee ballot on time.

B. Membership Renewals

All members are reminded that membership dues ($25 for Founding and General members) renew annually on September 1 each year. Dues not received by September 30 shall be cause for inactivation of membership. Watch for further membership renewal information from the Treasurer, Chris Hochmuth.

Anyone wishing to identify or change a primary Color Team designation may do so by notifying either the Secretary (Secretary@KreweofChaos.org) or Treasurer (Treasurer@KreweofChaos.org) in writing. Notification must be received prior to the commencement of elections at the August meeting to have effect for election of Board positions.
